Stewarts River Meet & Greet + Riverbank Restoration
Join the Stewarts River Catchment Group for an afternoon dedicated to restoring the beautiful rainforest riparian zones along our very own Stewarts River. This event is a fantastic opportunity to meet your like-minded Landcarer neighbours, as well as meet our new Local Landcare Coordinator for the Manning Region, + learn practical skills in riverbank restoration.
We will take a walk to the river's riparian zone to observe the current restoration progress and demonstrate essential weed control techniques. We’ll also host a mini propagation workshop where we will explore how to grow local native plant species from collected fruit.
We look forward to seeing you there to help care for our local ecosystem!
