Discover the fascinating world of Australia's native pollinators and learn how to create a thriving, productive backyard orchard.

Join Lauren from Mid Coast 2 Tops Landcare and members of the Gloucester Community Garden for a hands-on workshop exploring the native bees and other pollinators that help fruit trees flourish.

10am-12pm with light morning tea provided by the Gloucester Community Garden

Meet the local native pollinators of the Gloucester region and learn why these important insects matter, how to attract them with the right plants and habitat, and simple ways to make your garden more pollinator-friendly with local native plant species. The morning will conclude with a practical winter fruit tree pruning demonstration, giving you the confidence to care for your own backyard orchard. Whether you have a single fruit tree or a larger rural property, you'll leave with practical tips to support biodiversity and enjoy healthier, more productive harvests.
