World Clean Up Day at Manning Point - OzFish & Manning Coastcare
OzFish's Manning River Chapter is teaming up with our friends at Manning Coastcare and Landcare for a litter collecting blitz in honour of World Clean Up Day.
Starting at Vic Shoesmith Reserve, we will walk along the bank and around the park to collect any litter that has gathered there. We know the fish and other inhabitants will be grateful for the litter collected on the day and kept out of the environment!
Coastcare and Landcare will also be conducting weed removal, so you’re welcome to do a bit of multi-tasking, weeding and cleaning as we move through the park.
Afterwards, we’ll celebrate with some hard-earned food and soft drinks as a small thank you.
What to bring
- Enclosed shoes.
- Suitable clothing for working outdoors.
- Sunscreen, hat and sunglasses.
- Drinking water and snacks – morning tea will be provided.

Site access: Meet in the reserve carpark and we will move as a group from there.
